I have had an interest in design ever since college…which was many more year ago then I would like to admit! I was young, and didn’t consider myself super “artistic” but man-did I love computers. No matter what it was–videos, powerpoint, photos, graphics, business cards…I loved to design them. So, when I found myself needing two art credits to graduate, graphic design was an obvious choice. As time went by, I continued learning on my own. I did this a variety of ways, but my main avenue of learning was just through practice. I quickly became “designer” for small businesses and nonprofit organizations where I was working. My skills developed, and so did the need to learn Website Design. I already had very basic knowledge in coding, but I also became proficient with WordPress, Wix, and several other website builders.
